This final video was done by using 'Cam Studio', a programme which records what happens on screen. Using this, I was able to display the software and websites which made the planning process, and ancillary tasks far more simple. I have then published the video on Youtube, in order to embed the video onto the blog, as a fine example of how Youtube made the evauluation simpler.

Evaluation Question 3
This post looks at the evaluation questions "What have you learned from your audience feedback?"
We decided to get feedback from the target audience we aimed our product at. This lead us to come up with the idea of interviewing people and seeing what they had to say. The video, above, features Emily-Jayne interviewing several 16-24 year olds and receiving there feedback.
Below show screenshots of the feedback we recieved from putting our video onto youtube.
To receive feedback from a wider audience we chose to broadcast the video on to YouTube. This meant that anyone could look, comment and rate the video. It also meant that we may receive more honest feedback than we would have done if we just asked our classmates or friends.
The feedback that we received was very positive. The majority of people said that they 'loved' the video and many people commented that it fitted well with the music. We were very pleased to receive this feedback as it meant that we have created a good video.
From the interviews, youtube and positive comments that we received we have learned that we created a video that fitted with the brief we set ourselves. We wanted a video that was fun upbeat and to target audience of 16-24 year olds. The feedback has confirmed that our video fits in with this criteria.
During the process of making our video and ancillary tasks we did various types of audience research the bubble diagram below shows this.

AT: Magazine Ad Audience Feedback
After creating different options for the magazine advert we wanted to get some audience feedback so we new that we were choosing the right one. We decided to ask the peers in our group because as our target audience age they would know what people want to see.
This was a simple questionnaire that we used to ask people on an initial level which they preferred.
Results from questionnaire:
Totals:
Image 1 = 16
Image 2 = 7
Image 3 = 4
From the results you can see clearly that most people liked simple design. I think the majority of the people preferred this because of the clean lines and over all simple humour of it. The design allows the graphics to talk for itself and shows clearly what it is advertising. This design is also very similar to the CD design, as it is a larger version of it, so this helps to tie the whole package
together.
After receiving this feedback we wanted to see what the advert would look like in a proper magazine. I scanned a page from Kerrang! magazine and then I inserted our magazine advert over the top of another one. This result allowed us to see what it would look like next to a professionally made advert.
I really like how the advert has turned out because next the 'real' other advert it looks really professional and as though it belongs there. This is what we were trying to achieve.
