We stumbled across this video and decided that this is exactly what we would like to go for, basically having a group of friends going wild and doing silly things, and having fun.

Welcome
This blog is to show joint work that Claire Johnson and Emily-Jayne Fletcher produce.
Firstly, we will be deciding what music to use for our video. To the right of this post is a Poll which we have put on the blog to allow people to vote for the song that they prefer.
We have also done a Poll in class to find out what our peers prefer.
After the Poll has being conducted we shall combine the information and then make a decision based on this information as to what song we shall do.

Feeder - Just A Day
Claire and I have decided to use this video for our project, after doing a poll through class and also online. It is also our personal preference and we believe that it would go brilliantly with our ideas.
We both want to do a video of a group of friends that are having fun, and fooling around. This song would go great with this idea, as it is a happy, fast song.

Beastie Boys - Fight For Your Right To Party
We first considered this song because the lyrics are to do with a party, however we both decided that it was too aggressive for the approach we wanted and so we rejected this song.

Jimmy Eat World - The Middle
We very much like this song, and it is a good party song. The video is of a bizarre party, and this attracted us, considering that we want a song that will go with a party video, and so we will use this in a poll and see what the audience we are aiming for (16-24) would prefer.

Metro Station - Shake It
This is a very happy song and so it is ideal for a happy video, however Claire and I both decided that though the song is good, and popular, it is too commercial and overused. We would both prefer to use a rock song, as we think it would go better with the video.

Bowling for Soup - No Hablo Ingles
This band in general are funny and their songs are usually used at parties and are upbeat and bubbly,, therefore we were strongly considering this, however the lyrics are wrong for the video we were are aiming and so we rejected this idea.

Avenged Sevenfold - Afterlife
We were considering using this song for a calm video, however we decided that the song and lyrics were too depressing and not happy enough for a happy calm video.

Jose Gonzalez - Heartbeats
We were first considering having a laid back video of just friends laughing and hanging around in a really chilled out mood, however we decided that 5 minutes of just that would be boring and so we rejected the laid back music video.
